Davis Behavioral Health, Inc. is seeking a full-time Office Specialist - Front Desk to provide coverage at the front desk, complete daily office support functions, and to provide backup at the front desk in the all of the outpatient clinics. Currently, DBH has offices in Bountiful, Layton, and Clearfield. The successful candidate must be flexible and available to work in each of the locations, as needed.

The role of this position is to provide coverage at the front desk to provide excellent customer service and professionalism when another employee is absent due to illness, vacation, or other reasons.
Front Desk
The successful candidate will work at the front desk in the outpatient clinics. Duties assigned to this position will consist of working at the receptionist desk checking in clients for appointments, answering phone calls, and providing excellent customer service to clients, co-workers, and community partners as well as completing office support tasks such as scanning, answering phone calls, etc.
This position is classified as regular full-time, non-exempt. The successful candidate is expected to work 40 hours per week as a full-time employee.
Strong preference will be given to candidates who are bi-lingual English/Spanish; however, this is not a requirement. A 5% Spanish-language differential is available for candidates who successfully pass a Spanish-language assessment upon hire.
Compensation
Starting pay for this position is $15.00 per hour.
The successful applicant will answer telephones and route calls based on requests or subject matter; schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments: provide information to the public: greet walk-in and potential clients: refer clients to appropriate staff: accept payments: data entry: process and maintain variety of records, file, type, distribute mail, complete end-of-day receipts: and complete other tasks as assigned. Successful applicant must be flexible and willing to perform some intake work, records, and other office duties.

Minimum Requirements
The selected candidate must successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening. DBH will not hire individuals currently using illegal drugs or abusing alcohol; therefore, making employment at DBH conditional upon successfully passing pre-employment drug screening by providing a valid sample. Candidates who are offered employment are required to report for a drug screen at an Intermountain WorkMed location within 24 hours of being requested to do so by the DBH Human Resources Department.
Davis Behavioral Health works with Federal grants and must comply with the Federal drug laws, including no use of medical marijuana.
High school graduation and one year of full-time employment in a related clerical field. Microsoft Word and Outlook knowledge preferred. Typing a net of 35-40 wpm preferred but not mandatory.
