The Town of Breckenridge’s Recreation Department is seeking a dedicated and customer service-oriented individual for the position of Tennis Coordinator. The individual in this position is responsible for the day-to-day operation and administration of the Breckenridge Recreation Center’s tennis areas and related programming (tennis, pickleball, youth programs, etc.), which consists of indoor courts, outdoor courts at multiple locations.
The Tennis Coordinator oversees the staffing (including the recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling and evaluating) of division staff. They uphold the safety of the environment in general, including leading regular staff in-service trainings, and conduct recreational programs, activities, and services. This position is responsible for creating, developing, and implementing a variety of programs to meet community and customer needs. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have received a High School diploma or GED.
• Current United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) certification required. 
• Bachelor's degree in Recreation or other related field preferred. 
  • Related or relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
• A minimum of two (2) years of direct work experience in tennis required. 
• Must have two (2) or more years' experience directly supervising employees. 

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES:

• Basic CPR, AED, and First Aid Certifications are required within 60 days of hire.
• Preventing Disease Transmission (PDT) required within 60 days of hire. 
• Valid Colorado Driver's license required within 30 days of hire. 

Hiring Pay Range: $2,240.00 - $2,680.00 bi-weekly, $58,240.00 - $69,680.00 if annualized.
WORK SCHEDULE:
The work schedule for this position varies widely, dependent upon operational and staffing needs. The individual in this position must be flexible in terms of availability and may be required to work shifts as needed to meet business needs, including early morning, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
