The Town of Breckenridge is seeking a dedicated and uniquely qualified individual for the position of
Senior IT Support Specialist. Under the direction of the Director of IT, the Senior IT Support Specialist is tasked with establishing systems and processes to efficiently support computers, mobile devices, software, and infrastructure used by the Town of Breckenridge.
This role involves managing Microsoft Intune for seamless deployment and maintenance, overseeing configuration changes for Microsoft 365 Admin Portal, providing technical support, managing telecommunication systems, networking, maintaining hardware inventory, documenting solutions, researching new technologies, and collaborating with coworkers and vendors. MINIMUM & DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:- High School diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
- A minimum of five (5) years working in an IT operations support environment preferred.
- Experience working with Active Directory and Group Policy is required.
- Experience utilizing the Microsoft 365 Admin Portal, including, but not limited to, Intune, Entra ID, Defender,
- Exchange Online, and SharePoint Online, is preferred.
- Experience working in a Windows Server environment is required.
- Experience performing basic networking configurations and troubleshooting is required.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 Suite desktop and online applications is highly desired.
- Experience with managing an Antivirus software across an organization is required.
- Experience with automating patch management across an organization is required.
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES:- Microsoft and networking certifications preferred.
- A valid Driver’s License is required prior to operating any Town-owned vehicles.
Hiring Range: $2,860.00 - $3,430.00 bi-weekly, or $74,360.00 - $89,180.00 if annualized.WORK SCHEDULE:The work schedule for this position is typically Monday - Thursday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Fridays 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (noon). This position requires periodic on-call work, and all schedules are at the discretion of management.
