The Town of Breckenridge Public Works Fleet division is seeking a dedicated and customer service oriented individual for the position of Purchasing & Parts Specialist (Fleet). This position serves as a key customer service and internal service provider, functioning primarily in administrative, technical, analytical, and data management areas of work.
The individual performs a variety of duties in support of the Town’s Fleet Division at Public Works including acquiring parts, supplies, and materials to support vehicle and equipment operations and maintenance. Other areas of focus include purchase order and invoice processing, work order reviews, data entry and tracking, general administrative work, filing, record keeping, and vendor and customer scheduling and communications.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have received a High School diploma or equivalent. 
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience with purchasing or parts required. 
• Previous experience in the use of personal computers, computer software, and records management applications.

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES:

• A valid Colorado Driver's License is required within 30 days of hire. 
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) P1 and P2 Parts Certifications preferred. 
• ASE Auto and Truck Certifications desired. 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Parts management experience is highly desired. 
• Mechanic knowledge and/or experience preferred. 
• Some college or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. 

Work schedule is generally Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., with options for a flexible schedule after completing training.
