The Town of Breckenridge Public Works Department's Transit Division (Free Ride) is seeking a dedicated and customer service-oriented individual for the position of Transit Supervisor. Our Transit Supervisors assist Transit Management in the supervision and responsibility for the operation and maintenance of the Town's public transportation system.
Transit Supervisors perform highly technical and skilled work as they serve the public and the Town organization in a customer service-oriented and safety-sensitive role. The primary objective of incumbents in this position is to provide reliable, safe, and consistent public transportation service. The individual will be responsible for operating Town buses in such a manner to ensure employee and public safety, route and facility efficiency, and customer service excellence.

MINIMUM & DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must have received a High School diploma or equivalent.
- Three (3) or more years of customer service-related experience preferred.
- Two (2) years bus driving experience in a fixed route system and/or an equivalent combination of skills, experience and abilities preferred.
- Previous supervisory experience highly desired.
- Ability to meet U.S. Department of Transportation physical requirements for CDL drivers.
- Ability to meet requirements for CDL holders with respect to the Town's "Drug & Alcohol Policy for Safety-Sensitive Positions under FTA Guidelines".
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES REQUIRED:- A valid CDL with Class B, P2 Endorsement is required, pursuant to the "safety sensitive" nature of the position, as defined in the DOT FTA regulation.
- A valid Department of Transportation Physical Card is required.
Hiring Pay Range: $32.50 - $38.25 per hour, or $67,600.00 - $79,560.00 if annualized. WORK SCHEDULEThis is a Full-Time position where a schedule of 40 hours per week is typical. The incumbent must be flexible in terms of availability, and must be able to work shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidays, as scheduled or needed at the discretion of Management.
