Wieland is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist. The accounts payable specialist will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and efficiency of accounts payables processing for multiple business units throughout North America.
Responsibilities for this role include ability to meet deadlines for vendor relations, process invoices in a fast paced/high sense of urgency environment, and provide analysis on A/P processes. This role is located in Louisville, KY and will be fully on-site.

Accounts Payable Specialist Responsibilities:

• Own the Accounts Payable function, including such activities as the timely payment of all vendor invoices and
  expense vouchers, reconciling outstanding account balances and the maintenance of accurate records and control
  reports.
• Process vendor invoices, sort/match incoming receivers to invoices, monitor A/P email inbox and ensure that proper
  approvals are provided.
• Process wire, ACH and check payments.
• Provide analysis and maintenance on A/P processes.
• Manage miscellaneous AP reporting (Parked Invoices, Outstanding Checks, Aged Payables, Vendor listings, etc.) to
  ensure AP processes are current and accurate.
• Serve as back-up for accounts payable associates in other business units
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures and accounting principles. Respond timely to all
  internal and external audit questions.
• Support and participate in implementation of new processes and systems.

Accounts Payable Specialist Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of Accounts Payable/Accounting or related experience preferred.
• SAP, Oracle or other integrated accounts receivable systems knowledge required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with Pivot tables & advanced formulas in MS Excel.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner.
• Active participation in continuous improvement process.
• Excellent analytical skills along with the ability to create and present detailed reports.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a team approach.
• Must be a team player, willing to help others as needed.
• Problem-solving attitude.
• Ability to process on average 300 400 invoices per week
