Complies with all applicable company policies and procedures. Screens/directs telephone calls to appropriate individuals. Greets all customers for Point of Purchase Sales; handles cash & credit card transactions& reports. Receives orders from referral sources and processes accordingly To include verification of insurance eligibility of client, coordinate all client information for creation of client record within data base and maintain log of referrals. Develops and maintains working knowledge of current home care products and services offered by the company and all applicable insurance guidelines regarding eligibility for coverage and reimbursement. Performs introductory calls to potential client as well as follow-up calls in order to ensure accurate and complete client records. Assist in resolving client equipment problems under emergency conditions. Provides recommendations to callers and walk-in clients regarding supplies and equipment that can be utilized to meet client's needs. Provides assistance to Billing Clerk as needed to include billing, collection, and account follow-up. As well as ability to understand and comply with all governmental, regulatory and company billing regulations/policies including but not limited to Medicare and Medicaid programs. Assists with implementations of performance improvement program to meet company, state, federal and HQAA standards. Handle other duties as assigned when needed.
