The Strategy, Digital and Innovation (SDI) team forges the strategic direction of Wells Fargo, provides and manages our digital foundation and common capabilities, and transforms our business models to meet evolving customer needs and grow the company. The investments we are making will help the company create innovative digital banking experiences and make it easier for customers to achieve their financial goals.
The Lead Digital Product Manager for Commercial Banking and Corporate & Investment Banking Digital (CB CIB Digital) will influence the overall roadmap, and end-to-end execution in creating and delivering transformational experiences that help customers clients interact and transact digitally with Wells Fargo. This role will work on the Digital Activation Strategy & Readiness team. We are focused on developing, implementing & tracking strategies across the organization to build out go to market initiatives, improve client activation, and launch readiness & enablement programs. We partner with teams across the bank to enable the launch of best-in-class products, services, and capabilities for clients and employees. This will span across our suite of client journeys including manage their product interactions digitally through managing partnerships that span across all of our products - onboarding, web, mobile, lending, embedded finance, APIs and more. This role will work cross-functionally across key stakeholders in digital product as well as sales, operations, core product and other line of business teams to understand key needs and help to shape the future of digital for these clients and our internal teams.
This role will also be a strategic leader and influencer for the CIB Digital go to market and sales strategy, leading market analysis, building out frameworks, and developing data-driven recommendations and engagement. This position will be a key member of the team blending industry expertise, executive presence, and partnership skills with the ability to go deep with customers, transformational partners, product managers, technologists, architects, and experience designers to define game changing innovation that is a win for our customers and Wells Fargo.
In this role, you will:
  • Work with key product, sales and operational leaders across the bank to understand key client needs and support overall product development roadmap to build out a best-in-class experience spanning the host of financial products we offer for businesses strategy.
  • Lead market research and analysis initiatives with a focus on data-driven insights, launch and run engagements to identify, evaluate and recommend strategies to analyze costs and increase targeted usage of our digital solutions.
  • Work as a targeted strategist to Identify gaps and enable delivery acceleration to execute opportunities for positioning to drive digitization and digital self-service across the client lifecycle for clients and employees.
  • Act as a strategy/business subject matter expert to lead complex, innovative and diverse initiatives with enterprise impact, high risk and/or with significant scope, cost, and benefits.
  • Work closely with central Fintech partnerships team to connect back to the broader corporate strategy.
  • Provide vision, leadership, and industry expertise regarding Customer Experience and digital strategies that significantly influence the organization's business and financial operations via strategic partners.
  • Strategically lead all levels of Digital Product Management professionals and managers across the enterprise; serve as an expert advisor to Design Research & Strategy leadership; represent the company externally in industry networking and trade and technical events.
  • Deliver insights to help define solutions that are long-term, large-scale, broad-reaching, and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking.
  • Collaborate with sales enablement, readiness, voice of client and activation strategy colleagues to build frameworks and programming for implementation.
    Required Qualifications, US:
  • 5 years of corporate strategy, product strategy, product design or client engagement experience across complex financial products.
  • Expertise across commercial & fintech or banking industries specific to payments and cash management, lending, capital markets and / or operations.
  • Ability to lead with influence across activities with cross functional partners that drive to discovery and elaboration of transformation.
  • Intellectual curiosity and ability to work independently in an opaque environment with the ability to build hypotheses and drive towards data-driven recommendations.
  • Positive attitude with strong ability to collaborate with others while moving projects forward in matrixed environments across all levels.
  • Strong skills in building out executive-level presentations in PowerPoint, mapping out processes, building out excel models.
    Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with digital product development or management
  • Process mapping / engineering expertise
  • Fluent with operating in a scaled agile environment, ideally managing product owners
  • Strong customer interaction ability to participate in customer research and engagements
  • Strong relationship development and negotiation skills with cross functional stakeholders
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • MBA or advanced degree
Pay Range for San Francisco California & NY, New York: $115,900-206,100
Pay Range
$96,600.00 - $206,100.00
