Our Regional Account Managers are responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with customers in their assigned region in close collaboration with each local General Manager. The primary focus will be to drive growth, protect and increase utilization, minimize churn, and maximize revenue through effective account management and new business development initiatives. 
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Developing and executing a regional sales strategy in close collaboration with GMs and CCO to achieve revenue targets and maximize market share in the dry van trailer rental industry.
  • Identifying and cultivating new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and industry events, all in collaboration with the local GM.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their storage and cartage needs and proactively identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, keeping each local GM apprised and involved. 
  • Serving as a point of contact for key accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or issues promptly and effectively. Each local GM remains responsible for day-to-day contact with customers.
  • Conducting regular business reviews with customers to assess their satisfaction, identify areas for improvement, and uncover additional opportunities.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, location operations, and customer support, to ensure seamless execution of rental business and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Keeping up to date on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify potential business risks and opportunities.
  • Preparing and presenting sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates to management.
  • Attending staff trade show events as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
  • Strong understanding of the dry van trailer rental market and familiarity with storage & cartage solutions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport, negotiate effectively, and influence decision-making.
  • Proactive and results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Dynamics), Sycor, sales tools, and Microsoft Office suite
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven track record of success in sales and account management, preferably in the equipment rental, logistics, or transportation industry.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region as required. Potential for 50% travel.
  • Must have a current driver’s license.
