POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dynamic and resourceful candidate who will perform a wide range of recruiting, benefits and other HR administrative activities. Duties include:

  • Coordinate recruiting efforts: post job openings, search for candidates, conduct background screenings, conduct new-hire orientation; attend up to three career fairs per year.
  • Assist staff with benefits enrollment, processing, and general benefits questions.
  • Become familiar with details of our benefits and HR policies and processes.
  • Coordinate the FMLA process and track FMLA hours.
  • Maintain and update HRIS (Paylocity) with employee information and documentation.
  • Learn our HRIS and troubleshoot any issues that arise by contacting vendor.
  • Provide back-up for payroll function (after learning and acquiring comfort level with current tasks).
  • Perform other perk/benefit administrative tasks related to employee awards and culture.
  • Work collaboratively and cooperatively with the administrative and accounting teams and others, with a commitment to a workplace of dignity and respect, in compliance with equal employment opportunity standards and regulations.

Requirements

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • High school diploma; Associate’s or Bachelor's degree preferred; 
  • 1 year of HR experience minimum preferred.
  • Basic understanding of HR principles.
  • Experience with an HRIS. Paylocity experience a plus, but not required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Self-awareness and awareness of others.
  • Ability to exercise discretion, integrity, and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Organizational & time management skills.
  • Dependable, Team Player, & Professional demeanor.

POSITION TYPE: Non-Exempt/Hourly

OTHER: The candidate offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen. W3 does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position.
