Volt is immediately hiring for a Project Manager in Spokane, WA.
As a Project Manager you will:

• Work alongside vendor PM for the implementation of scheduling application within a manufacturing environment.
• Define project scope, objectives and use cases.
• Responsible for weekly status updates, monthly cost plans and monthly steering committee meetings
• Identify, analyze, and address project performance issues.
• Perform risk identification and mitigation.
• Maintain forecasts and project plans including schedule, cost, resources, contingency and communication plans.
• Present project performance to various Steering Committees and stakeholders on a regular cadence
• Vendor management, procurement and integration of tasks
• Contract facilitation and coordination.
• Conduct Lessons Learned to facilitate best practices.

This is a part time (15-20 hours/week) opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience working alongside vendor implementation teams and vendor Project Manager - this is key.
• Experience managing implementation projects, ideally in manufacturing setting.
• 5 years of experience managing projects through all 5 phases - initiation through closing.
• Displays notable soft skills, emotional intelligence and analytical judgment abilities.
• Indicates knowledge of business and organizational awareness
• Prioritizes stakeholder partnership, relationship management and dynamic communicative methods.
• Demonstrated ability to track and drive issues.
• Preferred experience with ServiceNow Project and Portfolio management systems
• Exhibits ownership and commitment to achieving goals, objectives and business-oriented results.
• Contracts/legal/vendor management experience preferred.
• Capable of leading, supervising and interacting with a team of diverse personas and communication styles

Pay Rate: $50.00/hour - $60.00/hour
