We are seeking an enthusiastic, growth minded individual to be a Commercial Project Manage r in our Spokane Valley . Expect an active, fast-paced workday where multi-tasking is essential. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• 10 or more years of experience in the construction field, 3-5 years of Roofing experience desired
• Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or similar field of study, or equivalent education and experience
• Ability to provide excellent coordination and communication with all team members, customers/clients, sales personnel, estimators and project teams
• Prior experience working in a CRM
• Ability to read specifications and project plans
• Prior experience in project forecasting
• Previous GC project management experience a PLUS
• Experience with Bluebeam a PLUS 
• Current Drivers License with no restrictions
• Successfully Pass Drug Test and Background Check

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Review contracts before execution, compare with proposal/estimate, and flag all discrepancies
• Ensure warranties have been applied for, work permits, and job contract are in place and has been fully executed
• Ensure each project is administratively complete before any materials are released or work is performed on site
• Provide thorough communication on job plan with the field staff before roofing work begins
• Coordinate work schedule with clients and subcontractors and inform Superintendent of all changes in the schedule
• Maintain job site records, daily reports, delay requests and weather reports as required
• Monitor job progress – provide input to assist with production reports and monitoring job costs: report to Department Head weekly regarding job cost status
• Resolve any technical and contractual problems and issues that may arise
• Provide support to Superintendent as required for materials, schedule, and cost information
• Prepare estimates for minor change orders and provide information/support to estimators for major change orders
• Maintain a change order status log
• Keep Accounts Receivable Department up to date on all pending and approved change orders
• Submit monthly billings based on contract requirements
• Attend meetings at main office and on site as required
• Attend weekly Department Team meetings, provide status reports/cost information on current jobs for review and discussion
• Cost control – projection of final costs expected for each job prior to monthly “jobs in progress” meeting with Accounting Department
• Responsible for PO's, requisitions, and consolidated delivery forms
• Assume responsibility for total project preparation, execution and close out

Knowledge/Skills:

• Knowledge of a variety of commercial and residential roofing systems
• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and regulations
• Ability to problem solve and excellent attention to detail
• Ability to master new software and systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Provide ongoing project management, submittals, and cost control detailed reports
• Ensure all information is enabling the company to make informed decisions regarding profitability and growth
• Working knowledge of WIP (work in progress) 
• Strong Leadership skills
