Mayor Construction LLC is Hiring a Project Manager Near Spokane, WA

Project Manager Job in Spokane: Mayor Construction is a reputable residential construction company dedicated to delivering quality work and meeting project schedules. We provide a supportive work environment that fosters growth and development.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or obstacles that may arise.
  • Minimizing material use to prevent waste and unnecessary cost
  • Manage and make decisions related to the performance of work-related to scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control, and trade employee staffing levels.
  • Examine and understand the contract drawings, specs, and addenda for design deficiencies, impractical details, and possible code violations.
  • Create detailed and accurate daily reports via Procore including receiving and reviewing the Subcontractor’s Daily Report of work done and labor and material employed.
  • Respond to subcontractor requests for field issues that impact the budget, quality, schedule, etc. Coordinates/Communicates this effort with company project management.
  • Manage the site safety program and ensure subcontractor compliance.
  • Create and update schedules and determine the sequencing of work in conjunction with company project management, trade labor, and subcontractors.
  • Participation in the billing process.
  • Inspect all work in progress or completed, taking appropriate corrective standards.
  • Maintain OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR
  • Maintain Forklift, Arial Lift, Rigging, and Fall Protection certifications.
  • Maintain proficiencies with Bluebeam, MS Project, MS Office 365, and Procore.
  • Leads the consistent practice of company Safety Culture as part of the daily operating procedures.
  • Ensures daily inspections, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA s), Pre-Task Planning, Toolbox Talks, etc. are standard operating procedures.
  • Manage field projects of the field and internal teams to ensure that projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and with high-quality results
  • Ensures project schedules, site logistics, and client schedule commitments are met.
  • Manage subcontractor closeout, transfer of utilities, owner training, work list, and punch list.

Requirements

  • 6 years experience as a Construction Superintendent or in relevant positions within the construction industry.
  • Minimum 3 years of Project Manager or similar leadership role.
  • Ability to interpret and build complex projects according to drawings and specifications.
  • Must be able to understand labor, material, and subcontract costs and the ability to analyze reports to effectively manage projects.
  • Proficient with Acrobat, Bluebeam, MS Project, MS Office 365, Procore.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.

Pay

  • Competitive hourly rates start from $30 to $45 per hour, based on experience.
