Sterile Injectable Manufacturer in the Pacific Northwest needs to transition from production line-dedicated resources to shift-dedicated resources to maximize contribution of production staff.
Major deliverables of the project:
- Site-wide calendar of manufacturing resource needs
- Identify functions that can be completed with resources not-core to that line or function
- Cross training framework to achieve desired resource
- Organization Change Management strategy and training
- Org structure and RACI for training (for the project and for ongoing operations after)
- Organizational framework to reflect cross trained positions
Project Manager role
- Work with SMEs to identify scopes of work and swim lanes
- Work with entire project team to determine interdependencies
- Build project schedule and WBS
- Complete a project risk matrix with risk mitigations
- Work with Dept Heads to secure resource commitments
- Manage the interaction of the interdependent deliverables
- Report on progress of deliverables
- Provide project executive summaries for site leadership.
