About the Role

We are looking for a marketing superstar to help us take our inbound strategy to the next level. Reporting to the owner and extended partnerships, the Marketing Communications Specialist will focus on creating and optimizing digital and print content to maximize customer conversion and partner training. You will work alongside the platform’s growing team of digital marketing strategists, graphic designers, and content specialists to launch new products, assist in new channel development, and perform market research.

About YOU

Our ideal candidate is someone with 3 years of experience in marketing or communications. In addition to demonstrating relationship-building skills and experience working with internal and external stakeholders, you also have an aptitude for learning new software and skills. This role requires an individual with the ability to understand a variety of topics quickly and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Most importantly, you want to work among a group of friendly, motivated professionals who enjoy collaborating in a fast-paced environment.

YOUR Responsibilities include:

• Create webpages, social media posts, emails, newsletters, web banners, landing pages and other digital or offline marketing collateral.
• Work with the platform marketing team’s content writer on articles for Degenerategenius.com and other publications.
• Work with the platform marketing team’s Digital Marketing Manager to generate ideas for improving conversion velocity and efficiency and execute testing across all stages of the buyer journey from traffic to nurturing flows to retargeting.
• Coordinate with the sales team to maintain or create new product assets, sales tools, and value-add programs for our partner network.
• Assist in maintaining keyword maps and implementing SEO best practices.
• Create strategic creative graphics or videos that complement our content.
• Work with our Event Coordinator on planned shows and conference activities.
• Assist with product marketing launch plans, go-to-market strategies, and market research.
• Communicating with senior management and the team.
• Working with sales and marketing to analyze data.

Your skills and qualifications include

• Post-secondary degree, diploma in Marketing or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 3 to 5 years of marketing experience (tech industry desirable but not required).
• Ability to juggle multiple and changing business priorities, with the capacity to meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices, WordPress (or other CMS), HubSpot (or similar)
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft business applications
• Experience with graphic programs such as Adobe Creative Suite.
• Proficient writing, editing, and formatting skills
• Prior experience in creating sales funnels
• Track history of data from prior successful campaigns
