$317M National Tax Consulting Firm-Houston, TX- $80-85K, plus discretionary bonus

- Role is fully in the office
- Prefers 3-5 years of experience, will consider a Senior with 2 years of experience
- CPA preferred
- Power BI experience is a plus, no knockout industries although full cycle accounting background seems to be the best fit, O&G not a great fit
- GL group currently has 7 people on the team
- Supervise 2-3 direct reports
- Multi company/currency experience is important, will be preparing financial statements and review/analysis
- Non-client servicing, role is 100% internal
- No travel
- Company pays 100% of medical and dental, daily stipend for food in the caf, 15 days PTO and 7 paid holidays
- 3-5 years of general accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- CPA designation preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to discuss financial matters across a range of both financial and non-financial management levels
- Power BI experience a plus
- Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts
- Review reports and analysis to enable informed decision-making by internal parties as well as to comply with requests by external parties
- Assist with month end close
- Provides schedules, support and analytics for annual financial audit
- Responsive team player with ability to quickly prioritize among numerous pressing tasks
- Development of staff, both professionally, as well as aligning them with our current culture and building engagement within the firm
- Supervise 2-3 direct reports
