Position: Regional Account Manager Location: Tulsa, OK- Peoria office The primary responsibility of the Regional Account Manager (RAM) is to serve as a centralized resource and support to the region and address national issues within the region, allowing the Strategic Accounts Manager (SAM) maximum time to develop commercial proposals and win business. The main responsibility of the Regional Account Manager (RAM) is to serve as a centralized resource and support to the region and address national issues within the region, allowing the Strategic Accounts Manager (SAM) maximum time to develop commercial proposals and win business. The Regional Account Manager will work closely with the Strategic Account Manager and the region in the following areas: Address issues and concerns from the region that involve Strategic Accounts Present National and Strategic Rollouts, Implementation, Track, and Report to the region Work with local stakeholders to manage Strategic Account participation within our region Assist SAM with regional and national conference calls Assist with regional cost savings for Strategic Accounts Manage Salesforce within the Strategic Accounts team, the region’s XBU customers, rollout implementation and reporting Direct price increases and initiatives for Strategic Accounts to maximize the impact for the region Work with large multi-state/regional customers Assist with tagging, territory codes and pricing issues with the National Support Teams Work to resolve customer cylinder issues, assets, audits, LOU, etc Be a regional go to person for information regarding national accounts Work with regional customer service and the branches to uphold the integrity of national accounts SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities. ________________________ Are you a MATCH? EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent from four-year college or technical school; or seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Industry and related product knowledge preferred. Must have broad base knowledge of gases, welding and safety products in the market Proficiency in Google Kite Suite- Docs, Sheets, Slides, Meets, etc. or proficiency using Microsoft Office, with intermediate to advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint, in order to develop and manipulate spreadsheets, create formulas and develop PowerPoint presentations. Proficiency in SAP required. Proficiency Power BI preferred. Proficiency Salesforce preferred. Exceptional written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, through telephone, email, conference calls as well as must be comfortable speaking with area AVP's. Must be a self-starter, highly motivated and able to work independently under some pressure to meet deadlines. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
