POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides a therapeutic experience for hospitalized children with terminal or chronic life limiting disease and their families. Address the psychosocial and developmental needs of patients, siblings or other child family members as related to end of life and chronic debilitating disease.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelors Degree in Child Life, Psychology, Child Development, Special Education or related field is required. Completion of a Child Life internship from an accredited Child Life Program is required. Prefer at least a year full-time experience in a child life program and experience with palliative or end of life care.
