United Consulting Group, ltd. is Hiring a HR and Administrative Assistant Near Norcross, GA

Description

The HR and Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the human resources department and the organization's overall administrative functions. This position involves handling various tasks related to recruitment, employee relations, office management, and administrative support to ensure smooth operations within the company. It is a Full-time in-Office Position.

Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources Support:

  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial candidate screenings.
  • Coordinate new hire orientations, onboarding processes, and training sessions.
  • Maintain employee records and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist in benefits administration, including enrollment, claims resolution, and communication with benefits providers.
  • Support employee relations activities, including resolving employee inquiries and conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with performance management processes, including documentation, tracking, and scheduling of reviews.

Administrative Support:

  • Provide support for the CEO and other executives as needed.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including drafting correspondence, maintaining files, and organizing documents.
  • Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings and events.
  • Order and maintain office supplies and equipment, ensuring availability for staff.
  • Assist with travel arrangements and expense reporting for employees as needed.
  • Handle incoming calls and correspondence, directing inquiries to the appropriate person or department.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other materials as requested.

Office Support:

  • Oversee the general upkeep of the office environment, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of inner-office events (monthly birthday luncheons, special day events, holiday events..etc.) and employee engagement activities. HR Fun Committee.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, with exposure to HR functions preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in all work.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Self-starter, can work independently, and follows directions. 
  • Flexible and able to multi-task
  • Positive attitude, team player mentality, and willingness to assist wherever needed.
