Summary/Objective:
Be the hub of coordination in our friendly, very busy Superintendent department! The Superintendent department is the central point for all jobsites and field employees. The ideal candidate for this full-time position is extremely dependable and timely in attendance and work habits because you will play a central role in keeping the department's business activities organized while supporting various Superintendents and Field Foremen. That's why a successful candidate will also need to be able to work productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Additionally, candidates must have exceptional written and oral communication ability as you will be communicating with multiple Superintendents and field employees daily. Equally as important, a great candidate will conduct themselves with a positive attitude!
Essential Functions:
This position will play a highly visible role, completing a wide range of administrative responsibilities. Typical duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
* Field new hire and termination paperwork
* Field payroll check distribution
* Maintain stock and distribute Sprig Electric apparel to field
* Organize and distribute Two Week Planners and Daily Job Journals to Superintendents and Project Managers
* Support Safety Director with coordination of training
* Organize and scan Safety Tool Box Talks into job master files
* Coordinate jobsite Job Hazard analysis paperwork
* Manage Click Safety training for onsite employees
* Update MSDS and IIPP as needed
* Manage stock of binders (MSDS, IIPP, STBT, EEWP)
* Maintain Sprig's safety tracking system
* File safety sign-in sheets
JOB DESCRIPTION:
* Prepare certification cards for field employees
* Prepare and schedule internal and external meetings
* Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction
* Backup front desk (i.e. answer phones, greet guests, route faxes, type & print panel schedules, etc.)
* Assist General Foreman onsite at various jobsites
Competencies:
* Construction experience and knowledge of construction technology is preferred
* Associate's degree in administration, business, or related field is preferred
* Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office which includes: Access, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and OneNote
* Proactively identify and solve problems
* Ability to organize yourself and others
* Ability to take direction from various sources while handling multiple time-sensitive projects
* This position will require driving
* Ability to visit jobsites daily, possibly multiple in the same day
* Demonstrate professionalism and confidence
* Advanced knowledge of financial terms and concepts
