UHY LLP is Hiring an Administrative Assistant Near Irvine, CA

Position Summary

THE FOCUS IS YOU: 

We are looking to add an Administrative Office Assistant to aid our internal leaders and teams as we continue our on-going growth in our Irvine, CA office. Under the general supervision and direction of the Director of Office Administration, the Administrative Office Assistant provides a wide range of administrative and operational support to the high performing China Practice and the office to facilitate the efficient operation of UHY including but not limited to the following:

  • Support local office administration, coordinates administrative services including mail distribution incoming/outgoing, shipping and receiving, supply inventory upkeep; and front-line office support
  • Schedule meetings, manage calendars, maintain drives and contact lists for UHY using resource management scheduler
  • Input expenses for China Group members, assist with engagement letters or financials; liaise with clients (internal or external) on a regular basis and provide superior high-level support
  • Provide administrative support to Partners and Principals and regular back up support to assist Administrative Assistant and China Group members with bi-monthly client billing, A/R and collections
  • Support the China groups Marketing activities such as maintaining social media accounts
  • Assist with other related clerical duties as required by the team
  • Miscellaneous ad hoc projects and assignments
  • Assist Director of Office Administration as needed

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Experience

  • 2 years in relevant position
  • Public accounting or other professional services environment preferred

Skills

  • Fluency in Mandarin preferred
  • Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle tight deadlines and manage competing priorities
  • Organized and detail oriented with excellent follow through
  • Strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Strong knowledge of standard business documents
  • Previous billing experience a plus
  • Previous experience with an accounting company preferred, but not necessary
  • Conscientious with a strong work ethic; punctuality is of the utmost importance
  • Prompt, courteous, able to see the big picture; able to handle many personalities with poise and professionalism; self-starter/self-motivator; interested in learning new tasks and growing with the company

For job postings in our Irvine, CA location, we are required by law to include a good faith salary range for every job, promotion, and transfer opportunity. This range considers many factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s knowledge, job specific skills, experience, licensure, and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is $50,000 to $70,000.
