UCLA is Hiring an Information Technology Supervisor Near Los Angeles, CA
Direct all aspects of computer operations for the Department of Architecture and Urban Design (AUD) at two locations (on the main campus in Westwood and a satellite facility).
Manage the information technology budget and allocate computing resources for AUD at both locations. Provide oversight to new and existing technology projects and supervise the staff who provide daily technological support for labs, shops, classrooms and offices at both locations. Manage the staff and budget of AUD's fabrication shops. Lead the strategic planning process for development and implementation of technological initiatives. In consultation with AUD's Chair and faculty, analyze and design technological systems that address curricular needs. Represent AUD in technology-related discussions within the wider campus IT community and work collaboratively with SOAA IT and University organizations.
Advise the Chair on implementation and oversight of new campus and department initiatives. Serve as a member of a core strategic planning advisory group to the Chair in the overall operation of the Department. Lead future development of the IT office and procedures, technology initiatives, and implement enhancements in the classrooms and technology spaces.
