Hybrid preferred or remote with 25% travel to home base in Los Angeles, CA

We are looking for an experienced, dedicated, and analytical Director of Information Technology to join our team and oversee a wide range of responsibilities, from guiding the daily activities of the IT department to managing key technical initiatives. The Director of IT should possess in-depth knowledge of IT systems in a healthcare setting, cybersecurity, and strategic planning to drive the achievement of IT goals. In this role you will collaborate with the IT team and senior leadership to ensure our organization's technology infrastructure supports our business objectives in a solution-oriented customer service fashion. We are a progressive forward-thinking healthcare company looking for our next leader to help take our business to the next level.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop IT plans/solutions and strategies to meet organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align IT initiatives with business needs.
  • Oversee the administration and maintenance of electronic health records (EHR), healthcare information systems (HIS), and other critical applications.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and regulatory requirements, such as HIPAA.
  • Lead and mentor IT staff.
  • Establish and manage IT budgets, allocating resources effectively to support business priorities.
  • Set IT goals and objectives, motivating the IT team to achieve them.
  • Monitor emerging technologies and trends, recommending innovative solutions to enhance business operations.
  • Provide detailed IT forecasting and reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in Healthcare IT leadership roles.
  • Proven work experience as a Director of IT or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare IT systems, cybersecurity best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong strategic planning and organizational abilities.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
  • Prior experience working in a full remote (work from home), or hybrid environment.

· Work with partner vendors on implementation of RPA and AI to drive workflow automation

  • Experience working in a SaaS environment.

· Actively manage partner vendors to ensure maximum functionality, appropriate SLA commitments, and escalations are met.

· Perform other duties that may be necessary or in the best interest of the organization

Physical, Environmental, and Mental Requirements:

  • Work environment – hybrid or remote with at least 25% travel required.
  • Ability to sit upright for extended periods.
  • Works well under pressure due to time and project requirements.

· Proven ability to manage enterprise applications, including execution of strategy, delivery, and support.

· Demonstrated working style that is engaging and open, capable of working hard under significant pressure.

· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong conflict resolution ability to collaborate appropriately at all levels of the organization to influence change

  • Ability to travel as needed with short notice.
