Tully Rinckey PLLC, a full-service law firm with 11 offices nationwide, is seeking a Human Resources Associate to join our team. This is an opportunity to join one of the fastest growing law firms in the country that has also been recognized as one of the Best Places to Work by the Albany, NY and Washington, DC Business Journals. This position will be based in our Albany, NY headquarters.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of Human Resources experience and must have experience with payroll and ADP. The Human Resources Associate will be responsible for day to day administrative tasks in addition to working with the Human Resources Manager on HR initiatives that include employee onboarding, payroll and benefits oversight management and training. Processing payroll and benefits in ADP is a large portion of the job and ADP experience is a must.
Duties include:
- Support the Human Resources Department in the areas of new hire processing and orientation, new hire training, personnel and performance evaluation tracking, coordination of benefits administration, ensuring quality service and process efficiency, under the guidance of the Human Resources Manager;
- Support new hire onboarding, coordinate and oversee the new hire schedule during bi-weekly new hire training;
- Process payroll, leave, benefits and 401(k) enrollment tasks for new hires;
- Coordinate monthly firmwide training with support of the Human Resources Manager;
- Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form. Provide support with regard to administrative tasks to include scanning documents, ensuring paperwork is up to date and filed. Maintain HR trackers for various tasks and follow up with any Managers that have outstanding items pro-actively;
- Provide support to employees on HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise, escalate as needed to the Human Resources Manager;
- Organize six month and annual employee performance reviews;
- Perform benefits audit to ensure that costs are accurate and correct;
- Generate reports out of ADP as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Associates or bachelors degree required;
- Proven experience in Human Resources for 2-3 years;
- Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures;
- Experience processing payroll using ADP;
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and strong technical skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Aptitude in problem-solving;
- Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach.

Compensation: $40,000-$50,000 per year. Paid leave up to two weeks vacation, five sick days and firm approved federal holidays.
