As a Business Development Representative, Hotels, you will be an integral part of bringing new hotels to Tripleseat. This role is one of the first interactions our prospective customers have with Tripleseat and is a key driver of our success. This role will be responsible for lead generation, cold calling, and prospecting potential customers in a fast-paced environment. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone to grow within the Tripleseat Sales organization!

This role will be based in our Concord, MA office.


What you will do:

  • Thorough Understanding of the Tripleseat Hotel Value Proposition:

    • In-depth knowledge of Tripleseat Hotel features, benefits, and unique selling points.

    • Ability to clearly and compellingly communicate how Tripleseat Hotel addresses the specific needs and challenges faced by hotels in event management.

  • Research and Prospecting:

    • Proficient in using various tools and platforms to research and identify prospective hotel clients.

    • Skillful at mapping out the hotel's organizational structure to identify key decision-makers and influencers.

  • Outbound Activity Management:

    • Experience in managing outbound activities, including making calls, sending emails, and engaging in social selling efforts.

    • Proficiency in using Salesforce to track and manage all outbound activities and interactions with potential clients.

    • Able to schedule and coordinate online and in person product demonstrations efficiently.

  • Effective Follow-up and Qualification:

    • Strong follow-up skills to nurture leads through the sales funnel.

    • Capability to conduct thorough discovery calls to understand the hotel's pain points, requirements, and potential fit with Tripleseat Hotel solution.

  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:

    • Regularly providing feedback to marketing and sales teams to optimize lead generation strategies.

    • Seamless communication and handoff of qualified opportunities to Regional Sales Managers

What we are looking for:

  • Sales experience is a plus!
  • System Proficiency:

    • Experience prospecting with Revenue iO or similar sales engagement tools such as Outreach and Salesloft

    • Proficient in using Salesforce to track and manage all activities and communication

  • Adaptability and Continuous Learning:

    • Ability to adapt to changes in Tripleseats product offerings and industry trends.

    • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on the latest features and updates to effectively communicate them to potential clients.

  • Goal-Oriented Approach:

    • A results-driven mindset with a focus on exceeding demo quota, lead generation, and conversion targets.

    • Regularly tracking and reporting on key performance indicators related to outbound activities and lead qualification.

  • Exceptional Communication Skills:

    • Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.

    • Ability to tailor communication to different audiences, including Sales and Catering Managers, Hotel Event Managers, and other levels of leadership

  • Time Management and Prioritization:

    • Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and activities that contribute most significantly to lead generation and conversion.

    • Meeting deadlines for scheduling product demonstrations, follow-ups, and other critical activities.
