Role Outline: Assistant Director

We’re in search of an Assistant Director who combines a passion for education with the skills to manage our childcare center’s daily operations. This role is ideal for someone with a background in education and some administrative experience, ready to step into a leadership position.

Responsibilities Include:

• Supporting the Center Director with administrative tasks including paperwork and payments.
• Engaging with parents and providing customer service.
• Leading staff development and education.
• Adapting to various roles within the center as required.
• Building relationships with children and their families.
• Maintaining and updating records for food programs, immunizations, and safety training.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• At least 1 year of administrative experience in a childcare setting.
• Holds a CDA or diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE).
• Completed Florida Director Credential.
• Physically able to engage with children in a dynamic environment.
