Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Preschool Floater. As a Preschool Floater, you will play a vital role in supporting our preschool program by providing assistance and support to various classrooms and teachers. This is a full-time position with the opportunity for growth and advancement.
Duties:
- Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and activities
- Provide one-on-one support to students who may require additional assistance
- Help maintain a safe and clean learning environment
- Assist with classroom management and behavior guidance
- Support students during transitions between activities
- Collaborate with teachers to create engaging and educational experiences for students
- Assist with mealtime routines, including feeding and supervision
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff members
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a preschool or childcare setting is preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
- Familiarity with lesson planning and curriculum implementation
- Experience in literacy education, tutoring, or special education is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Additional education or certification in early childhood education is preferred
