This is a full-time position with a Monday – Friday schedule that rotated between 7a -5p and 9a -6p. The pay is $40,000 -$45,000 annually depending on experience and qualifications. This position is onsite at one of our centers located: 3636 E. Michigan Street,
Orlando FL 32812 or 2701 Conway Gardens Road, Orlando FL 32806

The Assistant Director for Infants and Toddlers and Preschool ages plays a meaningful role in turning children's goals into reality and helping Conway Learning become the best it can be. You'll have the opportunity to utilize your natural interpersonal and sales skills while bringing enthusiastic energy to energy to the staff and facility. The Infants & Toddlers Assistant Director is responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and quality of education for children within their center’s care. The goal of this position is to collaborate with staff to ensure that curriculum and classroom activities are properly delivered and that the needs of the students and the goals of the center are met appropriately while we send our students off to kindergarten feeling academically prepared, socially confident, and personally happy. What You’ll Do:

• Manage adherence to quality standards in accordance with both center’s vision and state and local requirements
• Lead by example and encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement
• Ensure all Center policies and state regulations are met
• Provide Testimony on Christian Values
• Ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
• A strong understanding of child development and appropriate engagement strategies.
• Work with a team of Assistant Directors heading the Infants & Toddlers classrooms and staff 
• Prepare weekly report for the Senior Director’s outlining the details of your contacts, tours, and resulting enrollments
• Collect information, assess applications, handle application documentation, enter data into files, make recommendations, and provide customer service to families as needed
• Assist with administrative duties to include budget management, personnel record keeping, childcare management systems, and daily reporting and inspection.

What We Need from You:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field of study
• FL 45 DCF hours required with VPK Endorsement and Directors Credential with a CDA preferred

• Minimum of 2 -3 years of professional early childhood education or experience
• Must clear a full background check
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and basic computer skills
• Strong understanding of children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where students are engaged and encouraged to succeed
• Effective in communicating with both students and adults to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide teacher assistants, and resolve parental concerns
• Demonstrate empathy and patience in difficult situations while being Cheerful, enthusiastic, and engaging in the workplace 
• Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred
