Building Blocks Behavior Interventions provides Behavior Therapy to children, and adolescents with developmental disabilities in the Central Florida area. At Building Blocks, we believe that every child has the ability to reach his or her optimal level of ability. It is our responsibility to create a learning environment using positive teaching methods that are tailored to meet each child’s unique needs. Building Blocks will only use up-to- date behavior interventions that are supported by scientific research in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis.
Job Overview
§ Required to work 40 hours work week with 25 hours of billable services.
§ Supervise RBTs and BCaBAs
§ Update schedule on a weekly basis
§ Conduct monthly meetings with RBTs and BCBAs
§ Oversee the daily clinical operations
§ Communicate the need for materials needed for sessions
§ Create an overall positive clinical environment to increase morale and efficiency as well as decrease turnover rate.
§ Provide staff training and supervision
§ Monitor RBTs knowledge of ABA and their implementation of the principles of ABA during sessions.
§ Complete behavior assessments when needed
§ Oversee staff performance and client progress
§ Ensure clinic integrity and address ethical concerns
§ Oversee daily session notes are entered correctly and on time.
§ Collaborate with team members on a weekly basis
§ Assist new RBTs in completing any necessary documents and training of clinical operations
