The Receptionist is the first point of contact between the company and patients so the role requires excellent customer service skills. Job Responsibilities: The primary responsibility of the Medical Receptionist is to serve customers by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately; answering, screening, and forwarding incoming calls; and providing excellent customer service.

• Greeting and welcoming patients
• Answering, screening and forwarding incoming calls
• Checking patients in and out
• Maintaining patient information records
• Communicating with the medical staff

Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience working in a medical office
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office
• Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality

Nice-to-Haves:

• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Experience managing electronic health records
• Experience scheduling appointments and referrals
