FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers Kingwood is seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team of professionals at our new Kingwood location in a full-time role .

We are cultivating a team of like-minded individuals who will bring their unique strengths and experience together to form a collective, bridging the gap between patients and quality, compassionate care .

Our independent, locally-owned practice will be opening this Spring, and we need a dynamic Receptionist who is great with people and has experience in a clinical setting.

This role is vital as our Receptionist is the face and voice of our organization, setting the standard for kind and empathetic customer service.

Primary Responsibilities Include :

• Greet patients
• Manage multi-phone line system and client email correspondence
• Collect payments
• Schedule patient appointments, coordinate evaluations, re-evaluations, appointment reminders, and cancelations
• Collect new patient intake information and track all clinic referrals
• Fax reports to physicians, keep a log of incoming reports
• Verify Insurance and track insurance-covered visits, take copayments
• Communicate with the office manager and clinicians about scheduling / patient arrival
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Successful Candidates Must Have :

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year(s) of medical reception experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Excellent communication skills
• Detail-oriented and adept at multitasking
• Positive and compassionate demeanor with a high degree of integrity
• Ability to work efficiently / effectively in an autonomous environment
• Must be self-motivated with a willingness to learn
• Team player who can work in harmony with others
