We Are Seeking:

Star Physical Therapy Services is seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist that is primarily responsible for coordinating all functions necessary for an efficient and productive flow of patients between check-in, treatment, and check-out at our Copperfield location.

Job Duties:

* Greet patients and direct them accordingly

* Answer incoming telephone lines

* Schedule appointments

* Enter data

* Verify current personal and financial information

* Verify insurance benefits/obtain authorizations as needed to process patients for services

* Check patients in and out

* Collect money over the counter

* Fax, file, and perform any other duties assigned

Job Requirements:

* High school graduate or equivalent

* Must have two years of previous knowledge in a medical office environment

* Excellent telephone skills

* Data entry skills/typing are required

* Must be proficient in Word and Excel

* Previous experience with medical software preferred

* Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT, and ICD9/ICD10 coding

* Team player attitude, energetic, with a focus on excellent customer service

* Flexibility with hours

* Attention to detail

* Time management skills

* Organization, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
