Customer Service Rep./Visitor Services Representative 

One of our local museum clients is looking for outstanding visitor service representatives to support their reopening efforts. These individuals will be responsible for aiding visitors with timed entry, answering questions, and generally supporting museum operations. 

Duties:

• Ensuring that building entry lines are evenly distributed and properly positioned to ensure an efficient and safe entry process
• Greeting and checking in visitors who have registered for timed-entry passes
• Informing visitors of the security and safety processes & policies before they enter the building
• Responding to visitor inquiries, answering any preliminary wayfinding questions about exhibits, tour, or special events
• Working at the information desks (stationary or mobile) (to be determined by the Visitor Experience Manager)
• Assisting with interior lines and crowds, to ensure social distancing and the orderly flow of visitors
• Assisting with exhibit experience entry lines and explain operations procedures to visitors
• Attending and participating in specific content & procedure trainings related to the contract responsibilities
• Facilitate educational experiences throughout the museum
• Greeting and checking in youth and adult groups who have registered for the self-guided experience
• Ensure groups stay together once inside the museum
• Prepare check-in materials for the next day’s group

Ideal candidates will have experience in a customer facing role and strong interest in museum support.
