The King Center is Hiring an Operations Coordinator Near Atlanta, GA

Description

Looking for a savvy professional and quick processor with experience in operational support, data management, and customer service. The Nonviolence365 Operations Coordinator will work in the Nonviolence365 Department to complete projects and provide support in the areas of scheduling, data management, logistics, event management, social research, guest hospitality, and general administrative tasks. Central to this role is the ability to perform in fast-paced multi-level organizations and to bring order out of complexity.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIITES  

  • Provide end-to-end operational support for the department 
  • Aid the initiation, planning, and execution of project management stages and maintain timelines in an effective manner 
  • Receive and track requests/inquiries that come to the Department 
  • Coordinate departmental meetings, and other meetings relevant to the department and its operations 
  • Collect and organize program data and existing materials
  • Assist with the development and design of department onboarding materials 
  • Manage Inventory Control system, order and track supplies and expenses for department (including departmental events)
  • Perform spreadsheet management, data entry, and filing
  • Assist with gathering written materials from interns and fellows and posting them to the website 
  • Assist with maintaining Contractor relations with NV365 training team and curriculum/instructional designers
  • Attend all department meetings and events, on and offsite 
  • Help manage online databases and tracking software and create systems for shared online resources
  • Participate in key campaign events using departmental project management software, event software such as Eventbrite (or other organizational software or systems as needed), and occasionally represent organization at outreach events 
  • Provide support for planning and scheduling for NV365 Director, training team, and internal/external training sessions using Office365 (Microsoft Outlook), Doodle Poll, TeamGantt and LMS software (or other organizational software or systems as needed).
  • Assist director in the compilation of departmental reporting
  • Serve as NV365 Liaison to vendors, suppliers and The King Center Staff
  • Participate in execution of campaign and organizational building activities 
  • Other duties as assigned 

Requirements

EDUCATION QUALITIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher 
  • Experience in a business work environment 
  • Experience in scheduling, data input/management, and records management.
  • Experience writing and/or working with grant reporting. 

SKILLS/ABILITIES 

  • Must be highly organized with a proven ability to bring order out of complexity (the ability to simplify processes for maximum impact) 
  • Innovative ideas and possess a creative mindset 
  • Data entry skills 
  • Handling project assignments 
  • Timely execution and follow-through 
  • Ability to collaborate and ideate 
  • Computer knowledge and skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (proficiency in managing/working with Excel is required). 
  • A keen eye for attention to detail 
  • Requisite kills to perform in a fast-paced environment and a multi-level organization 
  • Exceptional analytical skills to sift through high volumes of data and information. 
  • Observant and self-motivated
