OVERVIEW OF THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT ROLE:

• Own the purchase to pay process, including monitoring, investigating, and processing PO bills using 3-way match methodology.
• Staff Accountant manages Accounts Payable through our 3rd party platform, Tipalti.
• Oversee credit card spend and upload transactions into Netsuite.
• Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, serving as the primary point of contact through management of the AP inbox for US and UK subsidiaries.
• Identify prepaid expenses and manage monthly amortization in Netsuite.
• Staff Accountant handles day-to-day transactional accounting and contributes to the enhancement of the weekly payment process.
• Support month-end activities including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Spearhead initiatives aimed at improving Days Payable Outstanding (DPO) by evaluating vendor terms, leveraging credit card payments, and maintaining an Accounts Payable dashboard.
• Staff Accountant contributes as a critical member in identifying and developing tools, processes, and controls to elevate our finance department to best-in-class status.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR STAFF ACCOUNTANT ROLE:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related experience
• A Staff Accountant with experience in manufacturing ( )
• Tipalti and/or Netsuite experience ( )
• Experience in a fast paced environment and handle multiple projects at one time
