TeleSolv Consulting has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Human Resources & Talent Acquisition Manager to support our Human Resources department based in the Washington, DC metro area.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Interact effectively and work in a collaborative manner with employees, contractors, and vendors.
  • Administers compensation, benefits and performance management systems, and safety and recreation programs.
  • Plans, directs, supervises, and coordinates work activities of subordinate staff within functional HR areas.
  • Mentors and develops subordinate HR personnel.
  • Provides current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working environment, wages, and opportunities for promotion and employee benefits.
  • Performs staffing duties, including dealing with under staffing, mediating disputes, terminating employees, and administering disciplinary procedures.
  • Advises managers on company policy matters such as equal employment opportunity, diversity, and sexual harassment and recommends needed changes.
  • Administers compensation programs and associated policies and practices, ensure competitiveness in the marketplace, internal equity, legal compliance, and alignment with company objectives.
  • Serves as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting, and administering company policies and helping resolve work-related problems.
  • Maintains personnel records in secure fashion and compile statistical reports concerning personnel- related data regarding hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism.
  • Analyzes statistical data and reports to identify and determine causes of personnel problems and develop recommendations for improvement of company's personnel policies and practices.
  • Implements selected benefit programs, orientation, and open enrollment activities.
  • Investigates and reports on workplace accidents for insurance carriers.
  • Represents company at personnel-related hearings and investigations.
  • Develops and/or administers special projects in areas such as incentive programs, employee recognition and awards.
  • Advises management and supervisory staff of pertinent human resources issues and regulations.
  • Investigates human resources related problems and makes recommendations to project managers and company leadership.
  • Serves as front line company representative for prospective employees, HR partners and vendors.
  • Available for incoming phone calls, email messages and fax transmissions from company management, employees, and vendors.
  • Is available for visits from company management, employees, and vendors.
  • Maintains security, confidentiality, fiduciary responsibility, and quality in navigating company benefit offerings.
  • Conducts HR related brown bag conference calls to discuss HR various processes / matters with employees.
  • Prepares monthly newsletters to keep employees informed of company events.
  • Develops business cases to provide comparisons of benefits programs, HR vendors, etc.
  • Conducts employee surveys in area of satisfaction, benefits and work/life balance.
  • Provides HR consulting and recommendations to management.
  • Ensures that job descriptions are developed and maintained for all positions.
  • Develops and coordinates the presentation and execution of training and development initiatives.
  • Ensures efficient and timely reporting and record keeping; provide ad-hoc reports as needed.
  • Maintains awareness of human resources trends and legislation that affect human resources.
  • Ensures relevant regulatory compliance is maintained.
  • Develops overall organizational recruiting and onboarding strategies that focus on filling open positions with diverse high performing talent that are both internal and external to TeleSolv Consulting.
  • Conducts workplace planning activities/strategies, including building pipelines for future growth and emerging employment trends.
  • Ensures recruiting procedures and practices are compliant with Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) and all applicable regulations. Provide training and information to hiring managers on their legal obligations.
  • Manages and develops external partnerships with colleges, community partners, job boards, applicant tracking system (ATS) and other recruiting related vendors.
  • Measures key recruitment metrics, hiring goals, (i.e., source of hire, time-to-hire, etc.) to ensure processes are efficient, effective, best-in-class and prepare reports and presentations reflective of this data.
  • Leads and manages all talent functions to ensure talent acquisition specialists’ (TAS) day-to-day work supports the company’s long-term strategic direction and supports our ability to attract and retain a great team.
  • Completes other relevant duties/assignments.

Minimum Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizen.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant area.
  • 12 years of experience supporting Human Resources operations including recruiting strategy and workforce planning.
  • Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook.
  • On-Site work 2x a week at our corporate office.
  • Able to disclose COVID-19 vaccination status and abide by department’s COVID-19 guidance when accessing the corporate office.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Master's degree.
  • PHR or SPHR certification.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $87,563.00 - $100,000.00 per year
