ProSidian Consulting seeks a Human Resources and Management Services Project Manager to support and participate in a project supporting The Department of Labor, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management, Human Resource Center. The Human Resources and Management Services Project Manager plays an integral role by effectively participating in day to day operations and by offering quality service and excellence in the administration provided for the OASAM. The duties of this position include demonstrating the ability in managing a large team of HR professionals in providing a wide range of HR management and operations services to multiple clients developing project plans in collaboration with sponsors and stakeholders to execute strategic HR engagements including scope, deliverables, required resources, and timelines and demonstrating talent in the HR management and operations arena; budget and finance; program development, analysis and evaluation; general project administration; training and development and information technology. This role supports the management, to include relationships and important deliverables and helps support others on the project through a positive attitude and effective communication with appropriate stakeholders.
This project provides human resources and management contracting support services for the Department of Labor, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management, Human Resource Center. This project will include budget and finance, program development, analysis, evaluation, information technology, general project administration and curriculum development and training.
This Office (OASAM) is responsible for the development of policies, standards, procedures, systems and materials, related to the resource and administrative management of the Department. The Human Resources Center (HRC) is responsible for providing leadership, guidance and expertise in all areas related to management of the Department's human resources, including recruitment and development of staff, management of personnel systems, leadership in labor management partnership and improving and supporting work and family life.
• Demonstrated ability in managing a large team of HR professionals in providing a wide range of HR management and operations services to multiple clients.
• Develop project plans in collaboration with sponsors and stakeholders to execute strategic HR engagements including scope, deliverables, required resources, and timelines.
• Demonstrated talent in the HR management and operations arena; budget and finance; program development, analysis and evaluation; general project administration; training and development and information technology.
• Recommend mitigation strategies to prevent and resolve risks that arise during projects.
• Understanding of metrics needed to manage programs and projects that deliver quality, support and cost effective solutions.
• Responsible for all aspects of project performance (Ex. technical, contractual, administrative, financial, etc.). This includes supervision and leadership of personnel in all aspects of project activity.
• Develop and execute an effective communication strategy throughout the project lifecycle.
• Organize and assign responsibilities to subordinates.
• Oversee the successful completion of all assigned tasks; establish and maintain technical and management reports to demonstrate to the Contracting Officer that the Contract is in compliance with all performance outcomes/expectations.
• Provide leadership to project teams, ensuring conformance to all performance requirements.
• Perform other related job duties as requested.
• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum three (3) years' experience with project leadership and management
• Proven strong project management skills and ability to manage cross-functional project teams from concept to implementation
