Job Overview
The human resources coordinator works closely together with the HR director and also works with hiring managers, and other HR/payroll personnel to ensure that the organization’s HR policies, processes, and practices are as efficient and high-performing as possible.
Responsibilities & Duties
Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks
Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations
Coordinate employee training and development programs, including scheduling sessions and tracking attendance
Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and terminations
Support the HR team in various administrative tasks, such as preparing reports, organizing files, and maintaining HR databases
Minimum Pre-Employment Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
Three (3) years of experience as an HR Coordinator or similar role
Strong knowledge of HR processes and best practices
Proficient in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite
Familiarity with employment labor laws and regulations
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
