The role:

The Bar Manager has two main purposes- they are responsible forensuring the seamless operation of the Swingers bars, as well as managing theteam, stock and equipment on a day-to-day basis. In addition, they oversee allfloor activities related to service and entertainment on any assigned shiftacting in the capacity of either a Manager on Duty or Lead Manager. With anoverriding focus on team and guest experience the Bar Manager balancesoperational excellence, commercial acumen, safety compliance and a developingdisplay of emotional intelligence.

As the Bar Manager, you will:

• Use your creativity and knowledge of industrytrends to create and implement beverage specials
• Lead by example and maintaina culture of premium standards behind the bar
• Put a premium on guestexperience through strong leadership and coaching of the team
• Contribute to creating aneducational beverage program and developing product knowledge
• Take point in the new hireonboarding and training processes, as well as the ongoing development
• Manage beverage programinventory and ordering

Our perfect candidatehas:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience managing a largeBar Team in a quality driven, high-volume environment
• Passion for craft cocktails/cocktail culture,and craft cocktail bartending experience
• Extensive beverage knowledge, and a pulse on industrytrends
• Experience in delivering a high-qualitycocktail program in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to establish a culture of premiumstandards behind the bar with a commitment to efficiency
• Strong leadership and coaching skills
• Charisma, energy, and enthusiasm
• Excellent communication skills with the abilityto relate to team members at all levels
• The ability to manage under pressure and makedecisions in real time
• The ability to manage multiple operational andmanagerial tasks simultaneously
• Personal maturity to deal with confidentialinformation and/or issues with discretion and sound judgment
• A relentless sense of optimism and the abilityto adapt
• A healthy interest in social competition andpassion for hospitality
• TIPS alcohol certification
• Food handling certification
• The capability to meet the physical andscheduling demands of the position, including walking, standing, or liftingheavy items for extended periods, and working nights, weekends, and holidays

*The basepay range for this position is $75,000-$90,000. The determination ofwhat a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the rangedepends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employmenthistory/job-related knowledge, qualifications, and skills, etc.
