CitySwing is Hiring a Food, Beverage and Bar Manager Near Washington, DC

Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food, Beverage & Bar Manager to oversee all F&B and alcohol programs at our CitySwing properties. The ideal candidate will be results-driven, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while forecasting and exceeding revenue goals. They will manage inventory, including ordering and controlling food, alcohol, and inventory costs, as well as manage and train line cooks and bar staff. This role will support the executive team in the ongoing growth and scale of the business.

Responsibilities:

Food & Beverage Management:

  • Manage all F&B operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards.
  • Design exceptional menus, purchase goods, and continuously make necessary improvements.

Bar Management:

  • Manage all beverage operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards.
  • Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons.
  • Manage the restocking and replenishing of bar inventory and supplies.
  • Curate exceptional drink menus, purchase goods, and continuously make necessary improvements.
  • Keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean.
  • Hold relevant training certificates.

Management Responsibilities:

  • Proven food and beverage, and alcohol management experience.
  • Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service.
  • Identify customer needs and respond proactively to all concerns.
  • Lead F&B & Bar teams by attracting, recruiting, training, and appraising talented personnel.
  • Establish targets, KPIs, schedules, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide two-way communication and nurture an ownership environment with an emphasis on motivation and teamwork.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations.
  • Report on management regarding sales results and productivity.
  • Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Mastery in delegating multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Up-to-date with food, beverage, and bar trends and best practices.
  • Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets.
  • Guest-oriented and service-minded.
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • Availability to work flexible shifts (nights and weekends).
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Culinary school diploma or degree in food service management or related field is a plus.
  • Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $62,000.00 per year
