What You’ll Do

The Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in managing our financial reports, records, and general ledgers. Apart from preparing and analyzing financial data, their responsibilities will include closing activities, maintaining ledger processes and controls, bank account reconciliation, and journal entries. They will also assist with audits and financial statements.

Essential responsibilities consist of but are not all-inclusive:

• Accounting functions such as Revenue, Fixed Assets, Prepaids and Cash
• Performing month end reporting, financial and accounting analysis, monthly journal entries, support and ad hoc accounting projects as needed
• Assisting with the maintenance and/ or implementation of software tools and systems
• Responsible for fixed assets and prepaid accounts including monthly roll-forward and account reconciliations
• Ensure Accounts Payable coding is accurate and
• Supervise the Accounts Payable specialist
• Willing to learn, grow and take on new challenges in an exciting, dynamic, team-oriented and collaborative environment.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit for prolonged periods of time, stand, walk, talk, hear, and reach with hands and arms. Hand-eye coordination is necessary to operate computers and other office equipment; must be able to operate a motor vehicle. When representing Suvida Healthcare at external events, the Director of Strategic Initiatives & CoS is also required to stand for prolonged periods of time, kneel, crouch, bend, and lift, and be able to move up to 30 pounds. What You’ll Bring

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
• CPA is a plus

Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements

• 4-6 years General Ledger Accounting experience, or equivalent
• Attention to detail, deadline-oriented, reconciliation and analysis capabilities, problem solving skills, research capable and time management
• Strong foundation and understanding of US GAAP accounting principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, strong Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to work well independently or in a team setting
