Description
Texas Research International (TRI), a group of profitable privately-owned companies with 145 employees and $45M in revenue, is seeking a Senior Accountant to own the accounting operations for 1 or more of its companies.
This position will involve working side by side with the accounting team, providing support to leadership & managers and report to the Accounting Manager as well as support the CFO/COO.

The Senior Accountant demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, recognizing the importance of dedicating full attention to every transaction, no matter how small. Effective time management is imperative in this position, as deadlines are non-negotiable. Strong communication skills are essential for engaging both colleagues and superiors, motivating them to take action without appearing pushy. Curiosity and patience are key traits for success. As a vital component of our business operations, the Senior Accountant maintains the integrity of our data and documentation with unwavering accuracy.

Qualifications:
Supervisory Responsibility: This position has supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment located in SW Austin, Texas and will be full-time on-sight.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time, exempt position. Under the Regulations, Part 541, an exempt employee is one who is not entitled to the minimum wage or overtime pay protections of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Days and hours of work are [Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.] This position may work outside of normal business hours to include evenings and weekends as needed.
Travel: Less than 10% of travel is expected for this position.
