As the Director, Human Resources, you will oversee US Human Resources and collaborate globally with other Business Leaders. You will partner with the CFO, President, Chief of Staff and Department Leaders to support strategic objectives and the organizational structure as the company continues to scale. You will manage the Administrative Ops Specialist, all Human Resource providers and PEO procedures.
Benefits:
Collaborate with Executive Leadership for Benefit plan design and cost management
Oversee Annual Open Enrollment process
Serve as the point of contact for employee Benefit related questions
Compensation:
Review and approve all changes to semi-monthly payroll (or special payrolls)
Partnered with Director of Accounting for sign off
Work with Management to define, direct and coordinate Compensation Plan design and implementation
Establish best pay practices and compensation structure for equal pay across the company and aligned to the job market
Utilize 3rd party software to set job code and pay ranges along side management
Analyze job details and employee status to meet FLSA rules for exempt vs. non-exempt
Assist CFO with Stock related employee questions or concerns
Human Resource Compliance and Reporting:
Own and report all headcount metrics, coordinated with our Finance team; serve as the primary contact with the HR function at our Hyderabad, India office
Ensure all legally required reporting is completed and submitted to appropriate agencies (i.e. EDD, DOL, USCIS)
Update policies and Employee Handbook for a remote workforce environment
Manage all company immigration cases and collaborate with external Immigration Attorney
Reduce company risk for employee related issues by partnering with Managers and following best practices. Seek legal advice from external counsel as needed
Review all employee terminations prior to action and ensure required termination notices are provided to the affected person
Employee Relations:
Work closely with managers and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
In partnership with Executive Leadership and the company’s culture team, look for ways to improve/maintain company culture and address threats
Serve on the US company culture committee
Manage all employee related job changes including Promotion, Termination and Leave of Absence
Talent Management:
Own recruiting process for US-based hiring, leveraging our applicant tracking system
Actively manage the selection process and utilize Talent Management software
Partner and support managers on employee development goals and training
Performance Management:
Own and improve the process and software relating to Performance Management
Educate, coach and partner with Managers to ensure employees have a clear understanding of their job responsibilities and are provided continual feedback to learn and grow
Guide Managers on the creation of employee Performance Improvement Plans (PIP) when needed to assist employees with improving their performance
