Job Description:

Performs duties of Guest Service Representative whennecessary

Ensures total guest satisfaction

Runs necessary reports to complete the nightaudit. Takes information from computerand compiles a daily balance sheet

Reviews data regarding material assets, net worth,liabilities, capital stock, surplus, income, and expenditures

Reviews and balances all hotel Outlet charges andincorporate them into the Property Management System

Inspects items in books of original entry todetermine if accepted accounting procedure was followed in recordingtransactions

Counts cash on hand, inspects notes receivable andpayable, negotiable securities, and canceled checks.

Verifies journal and ledger entries of cash andcheck payments, purchases, expenses, and trial balances by examining andauthenticating posted items.

Participates in the Manager On DutyProgram

Examines expense accounts, interest and accountpayments, cash receipts, sales tickets, bank records, inventory and stockrecord sheets, and similar items to verify accuracy of recorded data

Corrects errors or listsdiscrepancies for adjustment

Computes percentages and totals andcompares results with recorded entries

Prepares reports for all departments to show revenueand expenses and histories of guests and company stays

Provides security for guests and property bycontrolling room keys, verifying cash banks, making safe drops, preparing cashreports, following credit card verification procedures and reporting andcomplying with specified security and safety regulations

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $9.25 - $9.50 per hour
