Key position functions include:

• This position will work with the Vice President - Corporate Finance to develop and provide senior management with the financial information necessary to support strategic operations and capital decision-making processes.
• Identify best practices, recommend and implement financial and management reporting and cost controls.
• Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting audits, providing information to external audits
• Works closely with Senior Management and Branches to prepare annual budgets
• Responsible for Board package prior to Board of Directors meetings
• Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget
• Oversee daily operations of accounting department

Preferred candidate will possess a combination of the following:

• CPA or Related post-secondary education
• Minimum 7-10 years relevant work experience (Oil and Gas and / or Manufacturing)
• Manufacturing and Cost Accounting experience preferred.
• SAP experience
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• A solid reputation for integrity and delivering on commitments
• Familiar with Federal and State tax law, US GAAP and/or IFRS
