The Unit Project Specialist will handle and supervise all administrative and management functions for the Department's investigative and enforcement duties. This will include the assignment and docketing of new cases, ensure compliance with internal time frames and processes relating to investigations and review of investigative reports.
The Specialist will also prepare, edit and review all legal documents relating to the Department's enforcement functions and will calendar and docket all official actions that are open and pending with the Office of Administrative Hearings.
The Specialist will maintain databases for investigation cases open with the Department and ensure compliance with all internal and external time frames. Furthermore, the Specialist will schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments with all parties to a case and will communicate with other interested parties on open and closed cases.
• Prepare, edit and revise legal documents; including Final Orders, Cease and Desist Orders, Notice of Hearing, Notice of Assessment and Consent Orders
• Actively manage and supervise AES investigators' work and compliance with Department external processes and established time frames
• Review examination reports and disposition reports and prepare cover letters and other official Department communications relating to open and pending cases
• Manage the Department's databases, including, storing, inputting and reviewing all data received or used by the Department
• Monitor progress and follow up on assignments distributed to investigators and examiners
• Communicate and follow up with parties involved in any Department enforcement action
• Receive, screen and store various of correspondences addressed to the Department
• Schedule and attend internal meetings relating to Department's enforcement case
• Familiar with document management and filing systems
• Other duties as assigned as related to the position

• Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver license record checks, required to maintain acceptable driving records and complete any required driver training (see Arizona Administrative Code R2-10-207.11)
• Requires possession of and ability to retain a current, valid state-issued driver license appropriate to the assignment
