Solutions Architect, PreSales - (Midwest)

We are seeking a competitive, self-motivated individual to join our Pre-Sales Architect team.This pre-salesperson provides technical/functional/architectural support to both existing and prospective customers.Uses technical, influencing and relationship-building skills in working with vendors, partners and sales to ensure that optimum solutions are provided to customers.Assists Sales in campaign strategies.

- 3 years’ experience serving in a pre-sales or related customer facing role.
- Strong planning and time-management skills.
- Working knowledge of Cloud storage.
- Familiarity with data storage or backup software industry.
- Working knowledge of NAS.
- Working knowledge of backup and archive processes and methodologies.
- Working knowledge of data migration strategies and use of scripting is a nice-to-have.
- Working knowledge of tape drives, libraries, storage arrays, networking protocols, and general connectivity in multi-platform enterprise environments.
- Sharp writing, verbal and presentation skills.
Location: Midwest US (Colorado to Detroit)
Education: Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related business/technical field is preferred.
Travel: This remote role is expected to travel up to customer sites, up to 50% of the time.
Status: Full Time, Direct Hire Exempt Position
Compensation: Base $90,000 - $150,000 Commission
