Spectra Logic is Hiring a Senior Financial Analyst - (Hybrid) Near Boulder, CO
- Financial Analysis: Conducting thorough analysis of financial data, including revenue, expenses, balance sheet and cash flow.
- Financial Model Development: Working with business partners to develop driver-based financial and operational models to assist in the business decision making processes and corresponding analysis.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborating with department heads to gather information, analyzing variances, and providing recommendations to optimize budget allocations and improving financial performance as part of the annual budget and monthly forecasts.
- Financial Reporting: Preparing accurate and timely financial reports for executive management and other stakeholders, highlighting key findings, and providing actionable insights.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to evaluate the organization's performance against targets and benchmarks to drive operational efficiency and profitability.
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Conducting ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as required.
- Data Management: Maintaining and organizing financial information in our Workday Adaptive Planning system to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics or related field.
- Experience working with a Support organization including deferred revenue, support forecasting, parts utilization, and support call center modeling.
- Prior exposure to enterprise hardware and software in technology.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large amounts of data.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting techniques.
- Ability to uncover and explain the financial levers and drivers of the business.
- Proficiency in SQL (preferred but not required)
