Sodexo is seeking an experienced Executive Chef 2 to join our team at HCA in Headquarters in Nashville TN! The culinary program in a multi-faceted, we have 4 cafes, and catering operations.
The Executive Chef 2 will oversee the culinary operations for the the main cafe where food is commissary to the other locations. Duties will include but not limited to:
This position requires a focus on excellent customer experience. Our ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, innovative with the demonstrated ability to stay current with new culinary trends. Excellent communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of culinary standards. Must have highest level of food quality and sanitation skills
This position has high client visibility. A lot of retail competition in the very near vicinity. Comfort with technology, positivity and creative thinking are the necessary skills added to your management experience and business acumen to make you a success at this account.
This position offers a traditional Business & Industry, Predominately Monday - Friday schedule, but will include some early evenings for catering
Accrue 3 weeks of paid vacation per year (first year pro-rated based on date of hire). Medical Benefits beginning date of hire, and 401K with company match eligible.

Provides culinary leadership within a medium sized unit including menu planning, program execution and staff management & training. Works directly with internal and external clients managing the catering process from beginning through execution. Key Duties- Implements & coordinates the culinary function. - Directs & trains cooks & utility workers.- Ensures food preparation & production meets operational standards.- Manages catering & retail areas.- Customer & Client satisfaction.- Financial management to include food cost & labor management.- Manages food & physical safety programs.
