- Are you a logistics wizard who eats spreadsheets for breakfast and is able to track, measure, and deliver quantitative results on our market growth & outreach?
Then Sit Social is looking for you to be our Marketing Manager! This is a new role for our growing business and therefore we'd love to test the waters on both sides as we craft and manage the role and outcomes. We will do a 3 month part time contract of 20 hrs per week at $25/hr with deliverables to explore the working relationship mutually. If all goes well, additional contract or full time work may be available.
The Marketing Manager of Sit Social handles the three core areas of marketing for the business:
- Social Media/Digital: Creates social media videos/posts to supplement staff’s existing content and helps drive creative engagement and new clients to the business through social channels and online presence
- Experiential/Events: Identifies opportunities, plans, coordinates, and hosts monthly events at our Barkery space in partnership with other brands, meetup groups, and businesses to build community relationships and brand awareness
- Community Outreach/Expansion: Develops the market for our new products and services and ensures we are reaching our target audiences and receiving ROI
WHAT WE NEED:
- You are an outside of the box thinker who is agile/ flexible and able to adapt/pivot quickly as this is a new role that we will be building and growing together (understanding there will be some growing pains along the way)
- You are a results driven, self starter who enjoys taking the lead and making things happen and you require little to no guidance or micro managing to get things done
- You are an expert in marketing/sales who can double down on our proven and successful marketing strategies/tactics -- while also providing new strategies/systems within our marketing budgets that deliver measurable results/deliverables/and increase in new business within the 90 day period.
- You have experience with marketing of hyper local dog services or can quickly learn our niche from our 12 years of insights, data, and reasoning so as not to waste resources on marketing efforts that will not yield ROI
- Proficiency in Canva, Google Suite, Spreadsheets/Excel, Instagram, TikTok
- Preferred Experience in Gingr, Square For Retail
